PCAL6416AEV-ARD is a PCAL6416A 16-bit GPIO Arduino® shield evaluation board. The PCAL6416AEV-ARD Arduino shield allows easy integration with Arduino EVKs to evaluate 16-bit general-purpose I/O expander features for interfacing to sensors, push summarys, keypad, etc. A graphical interface allows the user to easily explore the different functions of the GPIO expander to create an evaluation system.

• I/O connector for external access to IC input-output pins
• Eight user switches connected to I/O pins of the IC
