Designed to deliver faster performance than Cat 6A cables, the Entegrade Cat 7 cable sports up to 600 MHz of bandwidth and supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet. Utilizing 26 AWG strands, the Monoprice Entegrade Cat 7 measures 5.7mm in Diameter, constituting a 30% slimmer build than cables using larger 23 AWG wiring. Complementary to its profile, the inclusion of a snagless Flexboot is intended for easy insertion and removal while gold-plated contacts ward against corrosion.

S/FTP Shielded

The S/FTP design of the Monoprice Entragrade Cat 7 Cable includes individual twisted pairs of wire, wrapped in foil, and then wrapped again in a supple braid screen. This double-shielding is intended to produce lower crosstalk or interference, as well as better grounding, both of which engender higher transfer speeds.
