Lumens DC136 Overview

The 4K USB 3.0 Document Camera from Lumens features a flexible gooseneck design, allowing you to freely adjust the position of the camera to provide a 360° view of your subject. The camera head has an integrated LED for providing illumination and a sharp image no matter the ambient light conditions. The document camera is suitable for 1-on-1, classroom, and distance learning. The camera’s powerful 1/3″ 13MP CMOS sensor captures images and video at up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps, as well as 1080p, 720p, and 1024 x 768 (XGA) at up to 60 fps.

It can zoom in and out on your subject using its 7x optical and 16x digital zoom, and it features a maximum shooting area of 16.8 x 12.6″ (A3 size) when used as a document camera. Downloadable Ladibug software for Windows and macOS allows you to control the camera from a computer connected to its USB Type-B port, and the camera is also powered by that same port. It supports image rotation of 90 and 180° as well as image flip and mirror functions. Other features include single or continuous still capture, UVC/UAC support, and a Kensington lock slot.

With a 13MP Sony CMOS sensor, the DC136 is a professional-quality visualizer that produces bright images and vivid colors. It supports capture and live reproduction at resolutions up to 4K30. Able to visualize the finest detail and even fast action, the DC136 is great for use in education and training.

User-Friendly Interface

Buttons on the base quickly control core functions including lamp on/off, image freeze, and capture. Auto-tune and focus summarys automatically optimize the camera to produce sharp, color balanced, and bright images that look great on 4K monitors, projectors, and large format displays.

Lumens Ladibug Software

The DC136 supports the Lumens Ladibug 4K application, which gives users access to advanced features that include annotating images, masking and cropping images, and sharing saved files. Ladibug is easy to use and is compatible with Windows and Mac computers.

Audio and Video Recording

The built-in microphone can capture audio with video, recording motion with on-screen annotation and voice-over, convenient for collaborative training and distance learning. The USB plug-and-play setup couldn’t be easier. The USB cable is connected to a computer (Windows or Mac) without the need for an external power adapter or VGA cable. Using the Ladibug software, the computer can save videos locally or share files across networks.

Webcam Capability

Featuring a 4K UHD camera and professional microphone, the DC136 works with Zoom, Teams, Skype, and WebEx platforms. Users can position the camera head over a document, angle it towards the presenter, or focus on students to encourage group participation. As a UVC-compliant device, there are no drivers to install and no configuration required.

Imaging Flexibility

The 4K camera is mounted on a flexible, multi-angle gooseneck design. The height is adjustable for close-up or wide-angle imaging. The lens can capture large documents and objects, in excess of A3 in size (16.8 x 12.6″), giving the DC136 the versatility for use in any location and for a wide range of applications.
