The New YU | YU4 and YU6YU4 Unboxing by Kanto

Play audio from nearly any device with this pair of walnut Kanto Living YU6 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speakers. They feature an RCA, 1/8″ mini, and two optical TOSLINK inputs, plus built-in Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. The RCA input can function as either a line-level or phono input via a rear-mounted switch, and a ground terminal is onboard to attach to your turntable. A 5V USB port is also built-in to keep your phone charged during playback. Each speaker has a 5.25″ Kevlar woofer and a 1″ silk dome tweeter to produce a total RMS output of up to 100W. An IR remote is included, along with speaker wire and a 3.5mm aux cable for instant connectivity.

The YU6’s 1″ tweeters are made from silk to deliver a high-frequency range that is bright and refined. Their dome shape improves sound dispersion to ensure your ears capture every sound, regardless of where you are in the room.

Kevlar Woofers

Well-known for its strength and rigidity, Kevlar ensures accurate sound reproduction even at higher volumes. Crank your favorite tunes without sacrificing performance.

Unmatched Connectivity

Inspired by an equal appreciation for digital and analog, the YU6 gives you the freedom to enjoy all your devices. Connect a turntable via a built-in phono preamp, transmit high fidelity audio from your computer or TV with optical TOSLINK, or sit back and enjoy your newly curated playlist with Bluetooth 4.0. With five inputs and a subwoofer output, the YU6 brings all your sound to life.

The YU6 comes equipped with a built-in phono preamp, allowing you to easily connect any vintage or modern-day turntable. Toggle between line-level and phono with a simple flip of a switch, and reduce noise using the provided ground terminal.

Featuring integrated Bluetooth 4.0 with Qualcomm aptX technology, the YU6 lets you stream high-quality audio directly from any Bluetooth-enabled device. Sit back and enjoy your carefully curated playlist from anywhere in the room.

Take your desktop setup to the next level by connecting the YU6 to your computer via the RCA, aux, or optical TOSLINK inputs. To reduce vibration and improve the soundstage, use the speakers with optional desktop speaker stands.
