The hybrid core consists of four glass fiber optic and seven copper wires, combining to transmit up to 8K60 HDR resolution content with 4:4:4 color sampling at up to 48 Gb/s when directly connecting display to source. The core is protected by FSR’s CoilGuard, a stainless steel reinforced inner jacket with a discrete black outer jacket for blending into the surrounding environment. CoilGuard imparts a short-term load limit of 450 lb per 4″ and a pull strength of 100 lb.
