FLIR AX8 Thermal Imaging Camera

A compact and innovative solution for continuous temperature monitoring, the FLIR AX8 Thermal Imaging Camera combines thermal imaging with a digital camera in a small, IP67-rated form factor for easy installation in space-constrained areas such as electrical cabinets, manufacturing processes, data centers, energy generation areas, and transportation facilities. The camera offers analysis and alarm functionality, allowing for autonomous operation and communication through standard protocols. This smart camera can stream live video, providing real-time insights into the conditions of your equipment and installations. The camera’s Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging technology enhances thermal images with visible light edges from the digital camera, providing clearer and more detailed imagery. The thermal imaging detector offers an 80 by 60 resolution, equating to 4,800 non-contact and selectable measurement points. Essential for applications where temperature trends can indicate potential risks of failure, the AX8 also integrates easily with industrial control equipment with its compatibility with Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP field bus protocols, allowing data to be shared and controlled over these networks.
