CyberPower PR1500 Overview

The PR1500LCD Smart App Sinewave UPS from CyberPower is a mini-tower device with line-interactive topology that provides battery backup and power protection via sine waveform output, plus surge protection for corporate servers, department servers, storage appliances, network devices, and telecom installations requiring Active PFC power source compatibility. It provides an output capacity of 1500 VA / 1500W and features an input voltage range of 75-154 VAC at 47-63 Hz using Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to help correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power. This Smart App UPS has an integrated LCD panel that displays immediate, detailed information about its battery and power conditions to alert users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime. The panel may be removed and relocated using its attached 4.5′ cable.

When running with a full load, this UPS can power devices for up to 4.7 minutes and when running with a half load, it can power devices for up to 15.1. It can be recharged in three to eight hours and offers eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, all of which are equipped with battery and surge protection. The UPS can absorb up to 1030 joules to keep your devices safe against surges and spikes. Other connections offered are a NEMA 5-15P input plug with a 6′ cord, serial, USB Type-B, and Emergency Power Off (EPO).

This power supply is ENERGY STAR qualified with GreenPower UPS Bypass technology for reducing energy consumption and heat buildup to help lower energy costs. Included with the power supply is the PowerPanel Business Edition UPS management software, which requires minimal system resources and monitors the status of the UPS to ensure it is working properly. When a power outage does occur, this software automatically saves open files and powers down the system into hibernation mode. When your PC is running in hibernation mode, the power supply will offer a longer runtime. This CyberPower UPS provides a lifetime connected equipment guarantee of up to $375,000.

GreenPower UPS Bypass Design is a patented design that allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer, when AC power is stable, which reduces energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup.

Extendable LCD Control Panel

This can be removed and relocated for easy viewing using the attached 4.5′. cable. This feature provides easy access to view status or change settings on the UPS when it’s installed in a hard to reach area such as the bottom of a rack, under a desk, in a crowed IT closet, or on the floor.

PowerPanel Business Edition Software

PowerPanel Business Edition Software provides IT professionals with tools for monitoring and managing the UPS and backup power. This software offers remote management functionality and is available as a free download.
