Cooler Master NR W9 Intel Core Ultra Overview

Make short work of challenging projects with the Cooler Master NR W9 Mini Desktop Workstation. In addition to its space-saving design, this desktop workstation delivers the power to handle video editing and AI workloads with the 3.7 GHz Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-Core Series 2 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, 64GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD.

The rear panel includes one Thunderbolt 4 port that can daisy chain up to 40 Gb/s compatible devices and monitors. There are also three 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports alongside two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports that work with up to 5 Gb/s devices. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and a 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet port provide fast connections to compatible networks. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Core Ultra Performance

The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor powers applications with eight Performance cores while the 16 Efficient cores handle background tasks. The P-cores have a 3.7 GHz base speed with a 5.6 GHz Max Turbo Boost 3.0 frequency. A dedicated NPU, which can handle up to 13 trillion operations per second (TOPS), accelerates AI tasks.

Based on the Blackwell architecture and backed by 16GB of dedicated video memory, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card delivers enhanced visuals while also leveraging a suite of NVIDIA technologies such as real-time ray tracing, DLSS, Artificial Intelligence voice and video, and more. You also get three DisplayPort and one HDMI video output so you can easily organize a multi-display setup.

Windows 11 Home

Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
