The Brother ADS-3100 High-Speed Desktop Color Scanner is a compact and versatile solution for mid-volume scanning in up to 600 x 600 dpi optical scan resolution. It provides an easy way to digitize almost any document. The ADS-3100 sends scans to your computer over High-Speed USB 3.0, or you can output your scans directly to an optional USB memory stick. An included software bundle lets you efficiently gather personal banking statements, curate family photos, index client invoices, track expenses, and more. The bundle features seven different applications, some for Mac, some for Windows, one for both (please see more about this below).

The small footprint of the ADS-3100 makes it ideal for small office and home office environments. The scanner handles a variety of document types, including invoices, receipts, photographs, and contracts. Scan stacks of up to 60 pages in the auto document feeder (ADF), and add more pages thanks to continuous scanning mode. The ADS-3100 is also capable of optimizing images and text for storage and classification. You can enhance your scans with automatic color detection/adjustment, image rotation (PC only), bleed-through/background removal, text enhancement, color drop out features, and more.

Other features include triple layer security that helps safeguard sensitive documents and securely connect to computers.

It’s super fast and can do single-sided or double-sided. It’s super easy to hook it up to a computer or SharePoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brother Scanner 3100 is great, I love how fast it scans my documents and how it only takes 1 Scan for it to go through and does front to back. Super easy to setup and good for home and office use. This is a basic scanner. I say basic because it scans your receipts and documents fast and effectively.Can load up to about 60 pages for first scan at once. Super easy to install and everything is included to get you started. This model connects with computer or mobile device with cord. Cord for mobile is not included but the one for computer is desktop or laptop is compatible. Super happy with this scanner and love how fast and simple it is to have your front to back document’s uploaded. I honestly haven’t seen a fast scanner as quick as this one.

Admittedly I have a smaller space and this doesn�t take up nearly as much space as I thought it would which is great. It�s not the sleekest looking one but definitely gets the job done, and was easy enough to set up even for tech-challenged people like me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really useful if you have a large amount of papers to scan. Such as receipts, business cards, documents. The tray on top adjusts so you can scan different size docs, and it pretty fast. I’ve set it up to scan to my computer so I can send things as PDFs, but you can directly scan to a usb if you want. Not sure if this is much better than getting a printer that can scan as well if you are just scanning documents (so you only need one machine instead of two). Makes life easier if you want to get things done fast.

I scan a large amount of documents daily and this has really helped me speed up the process. I was able to install the software super easily and everything went smoothly. I did not have any issues at all. My experience level with software is above average so I can�t speak for all regarding the install. I can�t brag enough about the 60 page auto document feeder. I can place all the documents and it automatically scans them in page by page and I can work on other stuff I have to do in the process. Gives me a lot of freedom not having to sit and scan page by page manually. All documents are easily stored on my computer and ready to send. It has never jammed on me or distorted any images. It�s been really cool to use. It is sleek and sits in my home office great. I like how compact it is and doesn�t take up much room. Hands down the best scanner I�ve had to use in my five years at home.
