ASUS Chromebox 5a Overview

With its compact design and high-speed connectivity, the ASUS Chromebox 5a Mini Desktop Computer helps to keep you productive throughout the day. Inside this mini computer are a Intel Celeron 7305 5-Core processor, 4GB of DDR4 memory, and a 128GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, which allows you to smoothly load and multitask a variety of applications.

The front panel includes one 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port alongside three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for 5 Gb/s compatible devices. There is also a convenient microSD card reader. On the rear are two USB-A and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports. You can enhance your multitasking by connecting up to four 4K displays through the two HDMI, one DisplayPort, and USB-C ports. Wi-Fi 6E support and the Gigabit Ethernet port allow you to connect to high-speed networks. Measuring 6.6 x 6.5 x 1.8″ with an included VESA mount, you can place the Chromebox 5a almost anywhere, including on a wall or the underside of a desktop. The Chrome OS operating system is preinstalled.

Please note that a keyboard and a mouse are not included.

Performance

The Intel Celeron 7305 processor drives applications with one Performance core while the four Efficient cores handle background tasks. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics provides rich visuals.

Single Cable Setup

A single USB-C cable delivers video, audio and data signals, and even powers the Chromebox, eliminating the need to use HDMI, DisplayPort, and other cables. The single-cable convenience minimizes mess for maximum cleanliness, empowering a tidy, minimalist setup for digital signage.

Enterprise-Grade Protection

The Titan C security chip is designed to keep the ASUS Chromebox 5a secure by protecting the user’s identity and ensuring the integrity of the system. A Kensington lock slot makes it easy to secure the ASUS Chromebox 5a in a designated location.

Military-Grade Reliability

The ASUS Chromebox 5a has been tested through MIL-STD-810H military standards.
