The stereo headset links wirelessly with the base station with a LIGHTSPEED connection for low-latency and uncompressed 24-bit, 48 kHz audio with an up to 39′ range. You can pair the A50 Gen 5 with a Nintendo Switch or mobile device via Bluetooth. The dual-device mixing feature allows you to hear audio from both signals simultaneously, so you can listen to music or a Discord chat from your mobile device while exploring fantastical worlds.

The headset’s internal battery provides about 24 hours, depending on volume and use. Additionally, the base station features 7-core DSP processing with the ability to save custom audio settings as you switch between devices.

Game / Chat Balancing

Based on Astro’s MixAmp technology, the A50 Gen 5 features game/chat mix controls located on the right of the headset. With a few taps, you can find the right balance between communications and game audio on the fly, ensuring that you can clearly hear your teammates at all times.
